The peroxisome is emerging as a master regulator of metabolism, lipid homeostasis, inflammation, and neuronal health. Unlocking it reveals new disease mechanisms — a new therapies far beyond PBD, across aging, cancer, and neurodegeneration.
With AI, single-cell omics, and advanced imaging, we can interrogate and engineer this organelle for the first time.
